Love It For Longer was a summer event in 2021 at Chester Zoo to educate the zoo's visitors on sustainability. I designed this space called 'The Junkyard' as a temporary Maker Space at the zoo to hold workshops to the public. Sustainability was an important aspect of the design and build and was taken into consideration when choosing materials for the building. The parrot entrance archway was designed and created with repurposed materials. The Maker Space now has a permanent home at the Whirligig Woods at Wild Rumpus.
